6/30/12  At first my husband tried to convince me that he could do the job himself.  He is not an electrician and I did not want anything screwed up!

So when I saw a local voucher come through I jumped on it!  They were able to schedule us quickly and arrived right on time.  I was so glad that we hired them because I wanted the work done by a qualified and licensed electrician since this was being done in our baby's nursery.

The job was done right the first time, everything was cleaned up and complete. 

With or without a coupon, I will definitely use them again for any future electrical work.  Having someone you can trust is priceless.

8/01/12 These men are top notch! My 1971 mobile home needed some odds and ends done. I've never had to have electrical work done before and was a bit nervous. The guys arrived and when I showed them what I needed done, they explained everything to me in a courteous way that made complete sense. They worked quickly and efficiently but definitely did not give the impression that they were cutting any corners - they're just good. I had a limited amount of cash to spend, so asked them what they could do on my list given the constraints. They listed my options and went to work!

I have another fan to be installed and a few non-functioning switches, lights and plugs that need to be fixed. Davis Electric is the only company on my list for these and any other electrical jobs.

5/5/12 Excellent! No, I meant outstanding! I called this company on Thursday to get an estimate on the project and they were very responsive -- scheduling a visitr two days later and not only provided an estimate, but was able to do the work. This is a father-son team who is proud of their work - and they should be. They covered the area they worked in to ensure they did not leave a mess, had good work ethics, explained the process, and were very respectful to my home. I had received an estimate from another contractor and was very pleased they this company was able to give me a better price. I also received many tips on how to save money in my home, which is always appreciated. If I have future needs for an electrical contractor, this is the company I am calling.

5/3/2012 About a month ago, I needed some wired smoke alarms installed.  I called several electricians but only got voicemail.  Dave from Davis Electric answered his phone and came out the same day.  He installed the smoke alarms for a reasonable price, and he also identified a dangerous bare wire in an outlet in the kitchen which he capped at no charge.  Today, the plumber came to snake a drain. When he plugged his snake machine in, the power went out in the garage and porch area.  He recommended that I call an electrician.  I was not happy to think that I would be facing a plumbing bill and an after-hours electrician bill.  I called Dave, and he walked me through the likely problem over the phone.  Thankfully, the power came back on.  Now I'm making a list of items for Dave to come back and fix.  He is now my "forever" electrician.
3/30/2012 After getting bids from several electricians, I decided to go with Davis Electric for a large project at my home. Dave and Keith were prompt, friendly, reasonably priced, and very competent. I have since had a couple of small projects and they were just as timely and proficient as they were on the large job. I find Dave and Keith trustworthy and reliable. I would recommend them for any electrical job, large or small.
3/29/2012 I bougth a fixer upper that needed to be completely re-wired.  Davis Electric (Dave and his son Keith) came highly recdommmended from a friend of mine who rents a substantial amount of properties.  
They were everything I hoped - professional, fair, courteous, and helpful in explaining what needed to be done and why. I highly recommend Davis Electric for all your electrical needs.

They were a clean, polite father/son team that did their jobs quickly and in a professional manor.  They even stayed past their prepaid one hour appointment to do more work, and refused to be compensated.  Now, that is service with a smile.  I will recommend them to friends and neighbors.  If I need service in the future, I will use only them.
